Virginia Team Total o64.5 vs Duke -125 1.5u After the absolute hammering UVA gave Miami yesterday, we should see a great game tonight vs Duke. Duke has won the last 4 matchups with the under going 3-1. I like the team total for UVA to go against the trend. This game is obviously played on a neutral court so they won’t have to contend with the Cameron Crazies like they did in February when Virginia managed just 51 pts. In conference games this season UVA is averaging 77.8 ppg and I think the team total is just a little low here.
Harvard -2.5 vs Pennsylvania -115 1u The first Ivy League pick of the post season for me today; this should be a tight game until late in the 2nd half. The teams split the series this with final scores of 64-61 & 64-63. I think this will be a lower scoring affair but the key here is Penn will be playing without Ethan Roberts as he has had another concussion. He averaged almost 17 PPG for the Quakers this season and in their matchups vs Harvard this season scored 21 & 27 points.
Cornell/Yale 1st Half u78.5 -120 2u For the casual fan, this could be one of the more fun games to watch today from the couch. Cornell lives off the 3pt shot, averaging 11 per game in their last 5 so they have the ability to score in bunches. That also means they can have deep droughts- while Yale definitely plays a more balanced game and boasts a stingy defense. I think the first half starts slow as neither team has played for a week and the total seems a little inflated.
Dayton/St. Louis u148.5 -110 2u Yesterday SLU had to come back from being down 21 pts in the 2nd half almost blew up everybody’s parlays early. Today, they will not want to fall behind and avoid long stretches without scoring which is where Dayton excels. Dayton’s best shot at winning is to slow it down, have long possessions limit Robbie Avila. Dayton’s last 6 games have gone under, while SLU has seen the under hit in 4 of their last 6 games and in 7 of their neutral/away games.
